Who is your favorite historical figure?
Sigmund Freud is my favorite historical figure because of his groundbreaking exploration of the unconscious mind and human behavior. What fascinates me most is how his work intersects with that of Friedrich Nietzsche—both challenged traditional moral and philosophical frameworks and delved deeply into the hidden forces that drive human actions. Freud’s theories on repression, dreams, and the ego resonate with Nietzsche’s concepts like the will to power and the critique of societal norms. Together, they opened new ways of understanding ourselves—not just as rational beings, but as complex, conflicted individuals shaped by inner drives and cultural forces. Freud’s legacy lies in making the unconscious speak—and that’s a legacy I deeply admire.

“He who fights with monsters should look to it that he himself does not become a monster. And if you gaze long into an abyss, the abyss also gazes into you.”
– Friedrich Nietzsche, Beyond Good and Evil
